Dr Maarasi Sello Founder & Lead General Practitioner (MBChB, BMedSc Hons, Bsc)
Dr Maarasi Sello is a dedicated, patient-focused General Practitioner with a profound commitment to community wellness and holistic healthcare. Holding a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of the Free State, along with honours degrees in Medical Physiology and Biochemistry, Dr Sello brings a wealth of scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to Pholo Medical Center.
With a diverse background spanning emergency care, family medicine and primary healthcare, Dr Sello has served the Free State community extensively. Her experience ranges from high-paced emergency environments at Bongani Regional to community-focused care at Nala and Thusanong District Hospitals. Furthermore, her ongoing work with Harmony mine has provided her with specialized insight into occupational health and workplace wellness. She also has special interest in mental health, supporting patients through stress, burnout, emotional challenges, and overall psychological wellness.
At Pholo Medical Center, Dr Sello is known for her calm, ethical and thorough approach to patient care. She firmly is passionate about empowering her patients through health education, early disease detection and continuous, compassionate support. Whether she is managing chronic conditions, performing acute interventions or simply guiding a family through their everyday health journeys, Dr Sello is dedicated to helping every patient bloom into their healthiest self.
